I chose to have Chester Wood Flooring lay a laminated floor in my living room. I did not take this decision lightly being a perfectionist and coupled with a huge dose of OCD I decided to take the plunge.

Let me tell you – boy did I make the right decision. The fact is Chester Wood Flooring went above and beyond in their efforts to give great service a fantastic product and I might add here at a very competitive price, blowing the competition out of the water. On top of that customer satisfaction was their number one concern, cannot recommend them enough.

How many ways can you say “excellent”? Considering a ‘proper wooden floor’ for the first time, I was anxious to discover as much as possible about all the options and details. The range of different styles in the showroom could not have been wider and Jo’s advice could not have been more helpful as all my questions were answered and sympathetic suggestions offered.

Paul brought large samples round so I could really get a good idea of what the different woods would look like in my home. Once I ordered, the dates were booked and absolutely everything was taken care of by the expert fitters. The oak was laid in a very thoughtful way and all the skirting boards were adjusted and repositioned as if they had never been moved. I didn’t have to do a thing.

Thank you Jo and Paul: I’ll be asking you again!

We had our living/dining room fitted with hard wood flooring recently. Right from the start Jo was really helpful and very knowledgeable of the products. The fitters were brilliant and did an amazing job, even putting a black trim round the hearth which looks great. When we went in to pay the bill Jo advised us what to use to clean it and gave us some cleaner and a mop. We are having them back to do our hall in a few months. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Five star service.

Could not be happier. Great service from start to finish. Choosing the right flooring was made easy. We had done the rounds looking at all the big retailers and not being impressed with the quality that was out there. Then we thought about trying a local firm and straight away the difference in the quality from chester wood flooring was easy to see. The difference in the quality is not just the product but also the attention to detail. Even down to matching the flooring to the silicone around the radiators. I’ve only just got around to writing this review because I don’t believe in reading reviews that have been written days after the product has been used and not had time to properly give the product the test of time.
